Total Station (TS) is a distance and angle measuring device (horizontal and vertical angles) automatically. TS is equipped with a memory chip, so that angle and distance measurement data can be stored for later download and processing. Total station is a kind of theodolite that is integrated with electronic distance measuring components or commonly referred to as Electronic Distance Meter (EDM) to read the distance and slope of the instrument to a certain point.
